Inspiration Day – Catalyzing change in leather and textile supply chains

Join us and learn how to catalyze change in leather and textile supply chains

Auditing and standards are good tools, but they come with shortcomings. Mitigating business risks and improving environmental performance can be achieved through collaboration, scale and innovative approaches. Sweden Textile Water Initiative  builds capacities and creates traceability in order to empower change in supply chains.

Join us in Stockholm for our Inspiration Day, where you can learn about our growing network and hear about the results of our unique business model from brands such as IKEA, Lindex, KappAhl, H&M, Hemtex as well as presentations from Diana Madunic, Sweden’s CSR-Ambassador, Torgny Holmgren, Executive Director at SIWI, Charlotte Petri-Gornitzka, Director General of SIDA and our partners at cKinetics.

We will share the story of our journey towards generating positive results from factories across the world, saving water for millions.  The initiatives pilot project, Sustainable Water Resources, recently won the 2015 Habit Fashion Award for Sustainability and was also nominated for the Global Leadership Award in Sustainable Apparel (GLASA).

By joining our network, you will be able to nominate your own leather and textile suppliers in India, China, Bangladesh, Turkey and Ethiopia to work with us in 2016 and 2017.

We look forward to welcoming you!
