2014 World Food Day – Watch SIWI video on Food Waste
World Food Day is celebrated yearly on October 16 to raise awareness of the issues behind poverty and hunger. The 2014 theme is Family Farming: “Feeding the world, caring for the earth”.
To celebrate World Food Day, please watch and share our short film, WASTE, which illuminates the environmental and human costs of food waste.
WASTE is a collaboration between SIWI, UNEP, WWF Germany and FAO.
