World Water Week in Stockholm, which brought together almost 330 collaborating organisations and more than 3,200 delegates from 130 countries in 2016, has always been a platform in which ideas are exchanged, projects developed and partnerships established.

True to its spirit, the 2017 World Water Week will host an Ideas’ Marketplace at the Exhibition area. The Ideas’ Marketplace is a space dedicated to ideas and projects seeking funding and/or partnerships. The Ideas’ Marketplace will provide you with an opportunity to discuss your ideas and future ventures with the wide range of delegates attending the World Water Week in Stockholm.

We invite everyone interested to submit ideas or projects that you would like to showcase at the World Water Week. Submit your proposal here before 1 May, 2017 .

The Ideas Marketplace is an open platform for anyone to present their ideas at the World Water Week in Stockholm but, when selecting the projects, young professionals (candidates under 35 years of age) will be given priority. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Cajsa Larsson at cajsa.larsson@siwi.org

The World Water Week’s Commitment

For each of the selected projects, the World Water Week will offer:

  • One Exhibitor badge to attended the World Water Week (incl. lunches and coffee)
  • A table on which to display project information
  • Possibility of displaying a roll-up banner (80cm width)

Your Commitment

If your project/idea is selected to be part of the Ideas’ Marketplace, you will be expected to attend the World Water Week in Stockholm from 27 August to 1 September, 2017 and be present at the Ideas’ Marketplace during the hours which the exhibition is open – 9am to 7pm.

Costs

Exhibiting at the Ideas’ Marketplace cost 2000 SEK (approx. 210€). Please note that you will be expected to cover your costs associated with taking part in the World Water Week in Stockholm, such as travel and accommodation.
