Li Zhifei, PH.D, has been an associate research fellow at the National Institute of International Strategy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) since 2009.

She is also a research fellow at Center for Regional Security Studies of CASS. CASS hosts 9 international affairs institutes with different geographical focal areas encompassing 500 employees conducting both applied policy research and academic research.

Li Zhifei’s research interests mainly focuses on China’s transboundary rivers issues, China’s water geopolitical and water resource management.
