“The new logos for the Stockholm Water Prize and the Stockholm Junior Water Prize symbolize the long-standing and robust partnership between the city and these prestigious awards. They visually communicate our shared commitment to recognizing the individuals and innovations shaping the future of water,” says Anette Scheibe Lorentzi, Chair of SWF.

Ania Andersch, senior manager Stockholm Junior Water Prize, adds: “The Stockholm Junior Water Prize honors and celebrates the water experts of tomorrow—the exceptional young minds who will shape our future. That is why we are delighted to introduce a modern and forward-looking visual identity, further strengthening the connection between the Stockholm Junior Water Prize, the Stockholm Water Prize, and Stockholm as both a city and host.”

The new visual identity has been created by internationally renowned graphic designer Jorji Frederiksen. She explains that the design concept behind the new logos is rooted in Scandinavian aesthetics, highlighting Stockholm’s beautiful skyline with its iconic towers and spires—a historical heritage reimagined in a modern, sleek style. It also serves as a subtle nod to the history of the prizes themselves and the sculptures that have been awarded to laureates over the years.
