World Water Week 2025: Thank You for Being Part of Water for Climate

World Water Week 2025 has once again shown that water connects us all. This year, more than 13,000 participants from 188 countries and territories came together under the theme Water for Climate. With nearly 40% of participants under 35, and a balanced representation of women and men, the Week became a vibrant space for dialogue, innovation, and collective action.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed. Your dedication, knowledge, and passion made the Week both inspiring and impactful.
This year’s theme, Water for Climate, resonated throughout the week, attracting thousands of diverse participants from all over the world: Indigenous Peoples, business leaders, decision-makers, students, NGOs, international organizations and many others the message was clear: water is not only central to climate action – it is the foundation of a just, resilient, and sustainable future. Thank you for the ideas and solutions shared.
