As a communications manager, Ellen supports individual projects and central SIWI communication. She works primarily on text-based communication, bringing our joint messages to the right people in the best possible way.

Ellen has a solid background as a copywriter and communications specialist, having worked with government relations and policy on an international arena. She has two master’s degrees in international political science through Stockholm University and Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Political Science from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Ellen’s writing and editorial expertise bridges the communications and policy gaps in subjects such as sustainability, migration, populism and democracy.

She is a native English speaker who is (slowly) learning Swedish.
