Sirly Castro
Sirly is a Senior Program Manager in SIWI's Water and Sanitation Department at the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Office in Bogotá, Colombia. She has over 15 years of experience in the WASH sector, contributing to the design, implementation, and evaluation of water and sanitation policies and projects.
Before joining SIWI, Sirly worked as a consultant for international organizations, including the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. Her experience in the public sector extends to positions held in Colombia government agencies. She has worked at the National Planning Department and the Water and Sanitation Regulatory Commission, with focus on the design of policies and regulations to enable the favorable environment in the provision of water and sanitation services
Sirly has an undergraduate degree in Economics, and two MSc degrees in Economics and Global Urban Development and Planning. She speaks Spanish and English.
