Stockholm H2O

During World Water Week, we collaborate with the City of Stockholm to organize a public event about the importance of water. StockH2Olm (or Stockholm H2O), taking place at Strandvägskajen on 26-28 August, is an innovative and eventful happening where all focus is on our most precious resource.

Stockholm International Water Institute will be present at the event area to shine a spotlight on the key role water plays in our work to fulfil the sustainable development goals. On 27 and 28 August, we will be hosting the participants of this year’s Stockholm Junior Water Prize in our tent. Their project posters will be on display, and they will present their work on stage.

“With World Water Week being one of the world’s most influential water conferences, with so much expertise present, we feel that it is our responsibility to try to reach beyond the water community. We can only achieve a sustainable future and a more water-wise world if everyone is onboard, and Stockholm H2O is designed to bridge between the experts and the public, in a fun, informative, and entertaining way,” says Gabriela Suhoschi, director World Water Week and Prizes.

Join us at Strandvägskajen to spread the world about water, have a coffee with us and a chat with both likeminded and the curious public, and be inspired by young water experts in one of Stockholm’s most beautiful spots.
