Melissa brings experiences from human rights, WASH, sustainability & innovation work into her role.

Prior to joining SIWI she worked at WaterAid with strategic partnerships where she supported corporate stakeholders to increase their work on SDG 6. Melissa has also co-founded a start-up with focus on supporting businesses work on the SDGs in their entire value chain. Further, she has worked with local politicians in Sweden and done internships at SIDA and the Media Council of Tanzania.

A Swedish national, Melissa speaks English, Swedish and Kiswahili fluently. She understands Spanish on a conversational level.
