Aaryan Pallan

Hi! I’m Aaryan Pallan, a student in Stavanger, Norway. I’m deeply curious about how things work and love exploring new ideas, especially in design, robotics, and sustainability. I enjoy solving problems, asking tough questions, and thinking creatively about the world around me. Whether I’m working on a project or just learning something new, I’m always driven by curiosity and a desire to create positive change. Meeting people who share that energy is something I really value, and I’m excited to be part of this international experience.

Tell us what the water concern in your country is!

Norway’s large offshore oil industry poses a major environmental risk. Despite strict safety measures, oil spills still occur, harming marine life, polluting coastal ecosystems, and killing thousands of fish and sea animals. These accidents highlight the urgent need for cleaner practices and better response solutions.

This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:

I believe solutions like ORCA, our autonomous oil-skimming robot, is vital for a sustainable future. We designed ORCA to detect and clean oil spills efficiently, reducing damage to marine ecosystems. It’s a step toward smarter, faster, and more responsible ways to protect our oceans from industrial accidents.
