I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from N.C. State University. I am currently in Eaton’s Engineering & Technology Leadership Development Program working in their Corporate Research & Technology division in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. I am contributing to and managing DoD-funded projects dealing with microgrids. Microgrids are a group of generating assets and defined loads that can operate within the utility grid or islanded from the grid, as a self-sufficient stand alone application. Renewable energy is heavily integrated into the microgrid to deliver power resilience, reliability, and uptime while also generating revenue from participation in energy markets.
