Elizabeth Atang

My name is Elizabeth Atang,  I was the team lead for the group that represented Cameroon during the 2005 Stockholm Junior Water Prize. That experience is still one of my very fond memories from my teenage years. I believe the issues on water security for instance are still of great concern. Back in 2005, for our SJWP project we presented the socio-economic impact that lack of water had on our communities, especially to women and children.  Today, my country is in even more distress with these same people being displaced from their communities and seeking safety with the ongoing crisis that has been plaguing the nation since 2016!
