I am a Junior at the Academy of Science and Technology in the Woodlands, Texas. Visual design and music are my passions as a Saxophonist and occasional Scholastic Art competitor. I currently am the Vice President and Co-founder of the DICE Initiative, an entrepreneurship club powered by MIT Launch, and a Quartermaster of the Cavalier marching band. I began environmental microbiology research applied to water quality monitoring systems in the seventh grade. My interest and passion for the applied environmental microbiology industry has grown exponentially throughout my early high school career. I have recently completed a continuation study focused on developing a better bacterial water quality monitoring system and I am continuing to explore the field of water quality monitoring this year.
