I am a Finnish water enthusiast studying in the Netherlands. I am doing my bachelor\’s at Maastricht University following the Maastricht Science Programme and wishing to do my master\’s in Biomedical Engineering.
Tell us what the water concern in your country is!Finland doesn't really have serious water concerns. The water situation is so good, that over usage and wasting clean water could be named as one of the problems in Finnish water scene. Also, eutrophication caused by agriculture and other sources of pollution deserve to be mentioned.
From where comes your interest in water?Finland is known as the country of thousands of lakes and it's not odd to leave next to bodies of water. When you see the lake in your backyard every day, you cannot not to think about it.
This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:Follow the universal Sustainable Development Goals.
