Morrigan Irwin

My name is Morrigan Irwin and I am 15 years old. I am from South Africa, and I have lived in Norway for 3 years. I enjoy reading, photography, maths and science. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in a wide variety of subjects and specifically science topics. Water is very important to me because I grew up in an area of South Africa stricken by drought. Throughout my life, protecting local water resources has been on my mind consistently. I am lucky now to live in Norway where water is always available. I have now switched my interests to local water resources around me in Norway.

Tell us what the water concern in your country is!

One of the water concerns in Norway is flooding. This flooding can come quickly without warning because there is not adequate data to predict and measure water levels.
