2021 | Bangladesh | Student: Dhaka College

Muhammad Abrar Zawad

Hey, I’m Zawad from Bangladesh! I’ve always been passionate about STEM. How it has changed the world influencing our lives fascinates me. As a junior year high school student, I’ve been seeking what derives my true interests. Roaming around some diverse STEM fields was an incredible journey for me. It has altered my views, changed how I think. It was a journey full of excitement, which helped me learn and piqued my interests in new things.

Meeting new individuals has always been a pleasant experience. I like knowing about other communities & their cultures. SJWP is a fantastic opportunity for us. I’m grateful for this opportunity and excited about this journey.

Tell us what the water concern in your country is!

Bangladesh is growing impressively fast. But the population burst had adverse consequences on our cities, emerging overpopulation problems on almost every region of livelihood. Water demand is skyrocketing, prompting rapid groundwater depletion. As water demand escalates, water supply, even in different areas of the capital, is getting increasingly disproportionate.
