SIWI @COP28

Water is the make-or-break factor in climate action. Every sector of society must undergo massive transformation on the road to net zero, and only through reliable access to freshwater can this be achieved. To increase the understanding of these connections and promote impactful climate solutions, SIWI takes active part in the global climate conference COP28.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference COP28 takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 30 November until 12 December 2023.

SIWI is hosting and participating in a range of events, onsite and online, to highlight water’s role in effectively addressing climate change. Additionally, SIWI is the leading organizer and host of the Water for Climate Pavilion, where much of the water-related events will take place. See below for more details.
