Events and seminars are a core way in which Swedish Water House connects Swedish actors to global water issues. Through a curated programme of open and targeted events, SWH provides spaces to explore emerging developments, share perspectives, and better understand how international water governance, policy processes, and scientific insights relate to Swedish priorities.

Open seminars and webinars

Swedish Water House hosts regular open seminars and webinars that bring together Swedish and international experts from research, policy, business, and practice. These events address current and emerging water issues and are open to anyone with an interest in understanding how water-related challenges are evolving globally.

World Water Day

Each year, Swedish Water House convenes a national seminar to mark World Water Day. This annual event is a key moment in the Swedish water calendar, bringing together a wide range of actors to reflect on global water priorities and Sweden’s role in addressing them.
The World Water Day seminar combines international perspectives with Swedish experience, offering a platform for dialogue on both long-term challenges and emerging issues. It is one of SWH’s most visible events and a focal point for national engagement with global water agendas.

High-level dialogues and roundtables

In addition to open events, Swedish Water House convenes more targeted dialogue formats, including closed high-level roundtables.
