A year of transition and renewal

2025 marked a year of transition and renewal for SIWI. With new leadership, a new Board and a new strategy, we strengthened the foundations for SIWI’s next chapter while continuing to work with partners around the world to advance water governance, cooperation and resilience.

Across the year, our work connected water with some of today’s most pressing challenges — from climate resilience and healthy ecosystems to diplomacy and sustainable development. From World Water Week and global climate processes to research, policy engagement and locally led action, the Annual Report shows how SIWI translated knowledge and partnerships into practical progress, while maintaining a stable financial position.
