Open now: Call for Networking and Expo Proposals!
Welcome to host a networking activity during this year’s World Water Week on 23-27 August! Between 18 May and 18 June, all organizations are invited to share their best ideas for collaboration activities – check out our Call for Networking and Expo Proposals.
Ahead of World Water Week 2021 we see great interest in different kinds of networking and social activities. After more than a year with Covid-19, people are tired of isolation and wanting to join forces to start Building Resilience Faster – which is also the theme of this year’s event.
From 18 May, interested organizations to submit proposals to host networking sessions and organize Interactive Expos during World Water Week 2021. Any type of institution can apply – international organizations, NGOs, universities, companies, and governments – and you do not need to already be a convenor.
To meet the growing demand, we have a broad range of new networking activities for a digital conference. Participants with a Networking Pass (on sale from 1 June) can participate in collaborating networks, mingle sessions, speed dating, post-session conversations and other activities that bring people together.
Your organization can host additional activities, inviting key partners or the whole World Water Week community. In the Call for Networking and Expo Proposals you can learn more about these three new options:
- Meet & mingle. Host your own networking session, either as part of the programme or by-invitation-only.
- Interactive Expos. Showcase your organization. Create your own branded room on the platform to showcase your organization and welcome visitors. This is a great way to link your World Water Week activities to your regular work and areas of expertise.
- Post-session conversations. Just like at a seminar in real life, many people appreciate a chance to hang back after a session and continue the conversation with speakers and fellow participants. To make that possible, convenors can pre-book a post-session conversation following the regular session.
