Welcome to submit research papers for World Water Week 2021!
World Water Week 2021 (23-27 August) will be held digitally and address one of the most important challenges facing mankind: the climate crisis. The theme of World Water Week 2021 is Building Resilience Faster, with a focus on concrete solutions to many of the world’s greatest water-related challenges, ranging from the climate crisis to the Covid-19 pandemic, water scarcity, food security, health, biodiversity, and many others.
The scientific core of the week is the nine scientific seminars, developed by World Water Week’s Scientific Programme Committee together with leading convening organizations. The thematic scope lays the foundation for the topics explored.
During the seminars, interesting keynote addresses and presentations of high-quality academic papers create a vibrant atmosphere with rich and dynamic discussions where participants from different fields challenge each other to explore new perspectives. To ensure this, all scientific abstracts must relate to the specific seminar in which they are presented. The papers are carefully selected by the Scientific Programme Committee. Here you can read more about the application process.
Presenting in a scientific seminar is a great opportunity to connect with experts, professionals, and decision-makers within your field. Even if you do not belong to an organization you get a chance to present your research and network with others who share your interest. Check out our frequently asked questions to learn more!
