Mr Murray Burt, UNHCR (Co-opted)

Murray Burt (MSc, MBA, BE, MICE) is Head of the Global Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Unit at the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), overseeing delivery of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene services to refugees throughout the world. He is a chartered civil and environmental engineer with over twenty years’ experience working with United Nations, commercial engineering consultancies and non-governmental organisations in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific. He has extensive humanitarian experience responding to multiple refugee emergencies, natural disasters and conflict situations across the globe.
