SIWI at COP30
At COP30 in Belém, SIWI joins global partners to ensure water is recognized as the foundation of climate action. Across multiple high-level panels and pavilion sessions, SIWI highlights that adaptation starts and ends with water — and that resilience must be built through inclusive, nature-based, and locally led solutions.
Events co-convened by SIWI showcase how freshwater systems drive progress on the Global Goal on Adaptation, strengthen the link between cities and national commitments, and connect climate finance with real results on the ground. Through the Water for Climate Pavilion and the COP30 Action Agenda, SIWI and partners call for water to be fully integrated into national climate plans and the new global finance goal, ensuring no community is left behind. The message from Belém is clear: water connects all solutions — and every one of us.
