Jennifer Jun is an international affairs professional with 15 years of experience in programme management, research, external relations, and communications across a range of global issues including human rights, international justice, and foreign policy. At SIWI, she is responsible for developing and managing SIWI’s engagement in global climate and sustainable development processes.

Jennifer’s previous affiliations include the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Aspen Institute, International Criminal Court, and IOM-UN Migration.

Jennifer holds an LL.M in International and European Public Law from Tilburg University, a double MA in European Studies from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and Universidad de Deusto, and a BA in Anthropology and Comparative Literature from the University of Pennsylvania. A U.S. national, she speaks English, Korean, French, and Spanish.

Huge success for Water Pavilion at COP26

The verdict is still out on the legacy of the climate meeting COP26, but the SIWI-led Water Pavilion can only be described as a resounding success. Over the course of two weeks, decision-makers and negotiators from all over the world have benefited from the pavilion’s content and expertise.

Water sector thirsty for change at Climate COP

The voice of water was heard across the Climate Adaptation Summit

On 25-26 January, the Government of the Netherlands hosted the first-ever Climate Adaptation Summit to promote global preparedness and resilience in the face of climate change. SIWI’s Executive Director Torgny Holmgren was one of the speakers who raised awareness of the importance of water.
