Catalyzing Cross-sectoral Cooperation to Address the Climate Crisis – Focusing on the Water Sector

This session is led by K-water, the representative water corporation in Republic of Korea, and Asia Water Council (AWC), the global water cooperation platform to emphasize the importance of cooperation among various industrial sectors, including water and energy to respond to the climate crisis.

Moreover, according to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, in 2015) and Achievement of Carbon Neutral goal of 2050, there will be valuable discussions for achieving an appropriate balance between the carbon neutral goal and representative industries such as power generation, steel, petrochemicals that are inevitably affected in the carbon neutral implementation process.
