This event will serve as a space to share good practices and lessons learned in mobilizing climate finance, with a focus on ensuring alignment between climate finance and climate strategies in the Arab region. It will provide a space for knowledge sharing among decision makers and the private sector, and act as a base for future partnerships and joint actions.

The event will bring together leading private sector actors, policymakers and international organizations to explore how can private sector get more engaged in climate finance. It will also seek to galvanize long term cooperation for nexus approaches, for climate finance to have impact and co-benefits for goals of poverty, gender equality, food, water and energy security, and climate resilient development pathways.

This High-Level Panel will be moderated by SIWI’s Thomas Rebermark.

It will take place in the Swedish Pavilion.
