The workshop will allow the audience to explore best practices from cities around the world that has built urban resilience to shocks and water stress. Many of which provide multiple benefits, from carbon storage to flood reduction and increased groundwater recharge.
It feature beehive discussion with urban water practitioners showcasing successful examples of improved urban water management. One aspect of which is to help policymakers interpret the findings of the groundbreaking report The essential drop to Net-Zero: Unpacking freshwater’s role in climate change mitigation.
