An increasing number of vulnerable people depend on other species for their livelihoods, survival, and dignity. Yet WASH interventions often fail to consider animals’ roles, needs, and impact on water.

This session will bring visibility to animals as a critical component of WASH contexts and encourage cross-sectoral cooperation. It will provide a space for champions in their field to share new ideas and practices, and for the audience to learn how to address complex challenges.
