Innovating Governance for Improved Water Security
The session gathers key investors, decision-makers and practitioners for an interactive debate and learning session on water governance innovations for improved water security. Innovation is seen in a broad sense to for example include social and institutional innovations to the role of digitalization for improving water management governance.
Countries are at cross-roads to develop and implement governance and policy responses to address increased water insecurity. The workshop is set against the backdrop of increasing water insecurity, under-investments and policy inactions by key decision-makers; and the mounting complexity of water governance challenges across multiple sectors.
